A delegation of service members from the 12th Special Forces Brigade Azov, including fighters from the Azov International Battalion — particularly the battalion’s commander, Lieutenant Colonel Yurii "Karl" Chekh — made a business trip to Germany and Poland.
Fundraising in Germany
In Berlin, the delegation participated in the charity and information forum organized by the Azov One Foundation and the International Alliance for Human Resources Readiness NGO. The event aimed to inform representatives of the German defense sector about Azov’s role in repelling Russian aggression, as well as to raise charitable funds for the brigade’s newly established international battalion. Additionally, Azov representatives gave several interviews to local media in Berlin.

Seeking justice for Azov POWs
A few days later, the delegation visited Wrocław, where they held a meeting with Yurii Tokar, Consul General of Ukraine in Wrocław, as well as with representatives of the city's Ukrainian diaspora and journalists. Specifically, Azov representatives reminded attendees that 848 Azov fighters had been held captive by the Russian Federation for over two and a half years and urged them to raise awareness of Russia's systematic violations of the Geneva Convention relative to the treatment of prisoners of war.
